Massage and MLM, Great Match Or Not?
There is no doubt in my mind that many of you reading this have enjoyed the release and rejuvenation massage therapy can give. I’m grateful to you who have for treating yourselves well, but the following content is a special message to the massage therapist out there, interested in earning more money without taxing the physical body.
I’ll happily be the first to confess my days of soreness and pain as a result from giving too many massages in a row, or in one day. I’m not without training because I spent a year with an intensive schooling. There were tricks and tools for longevity, yet ambition to maximize earning potential in one day can literally hurt. If you’re in a similar boat, when one more hour of leaning on elbows or taxing the hands just sounds like too much, then read on.
With a flexible schedule and the ability to work in a variety of locations, I decided to dive into the network marketing or multi-level marketing industry, to one day replace my income, allowing myself to do massage as a hobby and in service, not as a career. I had been pitched and approached by friends and strangers to “strike while the iron is hot” for many of their opportunities and deals before, but something never felt right about how they went about their marketing and finding prospects. I had a clear idea about what I did not want to be part of in this industry. Yet, there was (and is) a lot to be excited about. Network marketing is host to a great range of products and services, of which many massage therapists, like myself, need or want on a frequently basis. For example, products like vitamins, health care supplements, cell phone service, skin care products, aromatherpy oils and scents, and travel deals among others. The important thing is finding a company and product you understand and believe in, your communication with others will be more clear and enthusiastic this way. I will be upfront here and admit that I have never pressured my massage clients to be involved in my other business ideas. They have come to me seeking relaxing and healing massage work, and that’s what they will receive. Clear boundaries in all entrepreneurial efforts will only serve a benefit, and your clients will appreciate it.
One final note regarding network marketing is that so many get excited about the earning potential and with blind excitement follow their sponsor or group with ancient techniques. I have seen this strategy fail because there was no concrete plan or proven method for sustainable success. I’ve noticed that, like massage therapy, a person or a skill alone is not enough, in fact it can be counterproductive. For example, a beginner told to do an hour of massage work using only his/her elbows could easily hurt someone. One must have the burning desire to help others in their intentions of course, but also be equipped with a cutting edge skill set to focus and direct this intention into their work. Likewise in network marketing, hitting the streets with excitement is not enough and is counterproductive if unprepared. One needs to equip their passion with a marketing skill set.

Can you help me find the right oil to put into my aromatherpy gizmo?
I have this thing I have owned for three years. I can't remember the name of it and there is no brand name on it. i have moved sereral times and do not have any idea where to get the oil for it.
Description:
It is a ceramic bottle with a wick inside which soaks up the oil. There is a cirular thing on top that you light on fire and blow out after a few minutes. It then emmittes scent filled smoke into the air. It is the best smelling thing ever!
I have tried oils that go into an oil lamp which do not work. I looked online, but I can't even remember the name of this thing. I tried oil burner and diffuser, both of which it is not it has specific name and remember finding a shop online that carried the oils for it, but have moved and do not remember anymore.
Can someone help me out?
